1. “Instead of me”, 2000 year, 104 minutes

Melodrama.

English millionaire of Russian origin chained to a wheelchair is sailing a ship to the place of his childhood which is situated at the little town near Volga. Long time ago the estate of his parents was situated there. His voyage is his last chance to enjoy his life. For the huge sum of money the millionaire concludes a treaty with a young theatre producer, who agreed to accompany him at the ship. The main condition of the treaty is carrying out all the desires of the millionaire. The producer is trying to earn money for staging “ Boris Godunov”. He does not even suspect about the trials, that are waiting for him…

The first Russian action movie in an eastern single combat style.

The young master of ushu Djamal is dropped into the dangerous struggle with the criminal school Djiu-djizu, wich is trying to monopolize the teaching of combative art in the city. His victory against the mafia fighters turned out to be Pyrrhic. As a result he has to hide up in China, where he plumps into the famous monastery of Shaoline, where he develops his skills. After the murder of his teacher in Russia Djamal had only one way – to come back and to take a revenge. The real masters of Ushu took part in the making the film. All the vertiginous tricks were made without the combined shooting and without the belay.

3. “Monk2. Return to Shaoline”, 2001, 110 minutes

Action movie.

This is the second part of the theatrical film “The Monk”, which have managed to conquer the hearts of Russian viewers. This cinefilm is the logical continuation of the first story. But now the main hero is not Djamal. After the tragic events of the first part he is put into prison. Another young man continues his business. Aleksey is the young pupil of the school “Ude”. The role of Aleksey is given to the master of sport of the international class Aleksey Lichov.

The young  judoist Aleksey Likov is engaged in underground combat affair. At the first fight he occasionally kills the competitor. Now Aleksey is beyond the law and the criminal authorities are hunting for him. To survive Aleksey has to run away immediately. So he plumps into the lonely hill village, where he gets acquainted with a strange man. His new friend is blind, but he is a perfect fighter and the judo master. Nobody can win him. But even here, far away from the civilization, he cant escape from his enemies.

Its hard to save the nation in madness.

Russia on the eve of the Revolution. The dramatic fate of admiral Kolchak, who leeds the fleet, is described in the film. The terrible murder of the Royal Family, the circumstances of its inquisition, made by admiral Kolchak  - this is the plot of the film.  That film is about the cruel and useless opposition between two parts of nation. That opposition leads to the death of the great Empire. Even in the names of the series ( Death, Loathing, Treason, Intolerance, ) the contradiction and madness edges of the Russian civil war of that period (1917-1921) are reflected.  The rise to the power of Kolchak, dramatic circumstances of his death, deportation of Russian army and the terrible murder of the Royal family, the circumstances of its inquisition – these are the main events of the series of the film, which is made in the historical tragedy style with the polyphonical sounds of many voices, that struggled for Russia. Last series of that serial, that is based on the novel of  Boris Savinkov, tells us about the fate of Gennadiy Kurochkin, who used to be the secondary hero in the previous series. In Omsk provincial condition he gets acquainted with the woman, that was closely connected with admiral Kolchak.

Melodrama

Ajdar leaves his native aul for Paris probation, where he finds his love. Then he comes back to his native land with a pretty french girl Izabelle. Ajdar has changed a lot, but aul stayed as before. Fascinating Issuk-Kull glitters with silver and tirquoise, the air is jingling... But Ajdar can’t sleep at night because of shadows of the past. Love of Ajdar and Isabelle is in danger. Isabelle can’t understand why Ajdar haven’t already told his parents that she is his bride. Ajdar tells her the ancient legent about the son of khan, of which his family took birth. So his clan had come under protest of his father, and married the girl of another clan. So their clan had been damned for 9 generations. Ajdan’s generation is the 10. Everybody hope that Ajane would manage to disolve the problem. Love is winning.

The film has been selected for OSCAR-2006 competition.

Film has won the prise for best cameraman working and the Special prise of the president of Tatarstan republic at the Second International Sinema Festival «Golden Mimbar», Kazan, (Tatarstan republic) 

8. “TOMORROW OR NUCLEAR PRINCESS”
